i was just wondering after 12 months of poistive payment history, how many points will your credit score raise?
We don't know the exact algorith used so we can't say that you'll get X points. It probably varies, depending on one's credit. A person who already has positive payment history probably won't see much, if any increase, for example.
Also, positive payment history by itself doesn't really add points as far as anyone can tell. Paying bills on time is just something the scoring calculations ASSUME. That is, you'll get dinged for not paying, but there appears to be no special reward for paying. Over time, of course, that positive payment history will KEEP your score higher, but don't expect any special bumps from it.
+1 ^^^
Any increases would be due to the aging of that particular TL vs. the positive history. Though I'm only guessing but maybe the positive dilutes the bad (if any) and there may/may not be help from that too.
