Re: IS IT GOOD TO GET A CO REMOVED?

Your score change depends on the age of the CO.   Regardless of score, it is always better to get a CO removed.   Your report will look so much better without it.

Re: IS IT GOOD TO GET A CO REMOVED?

well,..it does depend on what else you have on your report
but my one CO on TU is holding me back about 100 points from what i've been monitoring over time
its a 3k CO

also, from what i've experienced a CO snatches your point increases in a bear trap! Smiley Sad
even with paying my CC balances below 10%, i saw no point increase from TU (the one with the CO)
and I saw 20+ increases from EQ and EX

I had a charge off and a collection deleted and I gained 33 points.   They were two years old.

Re: IS IT GOOD TO GET A CO REMOVED?

how did you get the CO removed? I have a CO with status as of November 05 that I know is holding me down on Equifax (691).
