late reporting in feb 2009 for paid off account

My account was paid in 2003 and now it is reporting as 120 days late in feb 2009 what can i do? please help.

You can dispute this directed with the credit reporting agency.  If you have proof that the account was paid off in 2003, you can mail it in with your dispute.

 I have also had an account settled with a CA trying to collect the agreed Payoff that I have a letter stating Settled account Balance 0!  I have called CA and they give my some bogus crap about fax or mail proof to certain number and they will investigate- I have faxed with all information requested and still after 30 days no response----- getting ticked!!  it is Sherman Aquisitions - they will not provide a dispute center number - they say CA dispute has to get ahold of you ---- ughhhhhh!!
