I wish you luck. I hate the whole cycle -- you need a car, to get to work to make money, to buy a better car, but then you spend money on the old car trying to get to work, to make money, to buy.. well you get the point. In Indiana it seems we have a lot of deals at the end of March/beginning of April. Please keep us posted!

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the cycle. Thanks for understanding! I would make larger payments to my credit card companies if I could, but every single time I start to get ahead, my car dies. Frustrating, but I have no choice but to hang in there and try my best to improve my credit. I don't know what I would do without you guys! Thanks! I will keep you posted.

UPDATE! I just got a letter today from TU saying that after having reviewed the case, they are going to delete the collection from Unique National Collections! YAY! Now I'm just waiting to hear from Experian. I will update whenever I hear from them.

UPDATE: Experian took my "investigate and remove" as a DV. They said it will remain on my CR because the item has been verified as accurate. **bleep**! The library guy suggested I try agin in 6-8 weeks. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I'm gonna re-read all of Smart Cookie's posts and follow that advice instead.
