ok so this situation rose today...actually its been going on. So back in 1-2005 my husband got a judgment that we had no idea exsisted....we only found out because our state taxes were modified...so the got thier money and we understood what when why where lol...so we go to purchase a house and this thing pops up so it gets paid AGAIN (then we got reimbursed) then we re-fi and it got paid AGAIN! then we got reimbursed....now waiting for our state taxes again lol im surte thats what the hold up is and currently in escrow for another house we just got a call saying that we needed to verify that it has in fact been paid....finally found out that i need to goto the recorders office and get copies of that the debt was satisfied and mail them to the 3 agencies so they can remove it or show it as paid?....so do we have the addresses on here for the agencies? to EQ TU and the other one? and is there a short but sweet letter to ask that they remove or modify thier report?
