# of inquiries differ betwe myFICO and CCT

Hi everyone,

Earlier this year I was elated to see the inqs drop before their time. Thought it had to do with the daily pulls I was doing with a subscription with amex last year. But when I subscribed to CCT, I was surprised to see that their inq count was still 18.

Can anyone explain why my recent myFICO EQ report says I have 7 inqs, but CCT says 18? TIA.

myFICO only lists the inquiries used in the score calculations (1 year) and CCT will list the last 2 years of inquiries

In addition it appears that FICO will not count a rental screening inquiry against you if it is coded properly, but will count it against you if it is coded as miscellaneous (dont ask me how I know)
