When a dellnquent account is paid, its current status is no longer delinquent. If the account is still open, the current status becomes pays as agreed, and if the account is closed, the current status becomes paid.
The current status is separate from the payment rating, or pay status. The CRAs retain the delinquency status just prior to the new current status of paid/pays as agreed.
It is stored in a separate code called the Payment Rating. The delinquencies are also retained in your Payment History.
Thus, the derogs continue to be scored, even if the current status is no longer delinquent.
