2 weeks left until closing. Sent over to USDA this week!

So, I'm in DFW Texas area and we're scheduled for 2-28-2014 closing, our file (or should I say my file since I'm the only one on Mortgage, haha) was sent over to USDA this week. I've heard this area is decently fast as USDA processing, is this accurate? Supposedly our lender is one of the top USDA loan closers so I've been reassured by several who've gone through the process with them that they know what they're doing. With 2 weeks to go is closing on the 28th still likely? All I care about is closing before spring break as that's when we've planned the move.

just called usda.... they are working on 2/12 submissions..... so you will experience a 2 - 3 day turn time.

Haha, thanks for the update. Sounds good and that we should have no issues, we are doing the walkthrough next week, very excited watching it go from frame to finish.

Supposedly we are. I talked with the processor today and it was in the USDA underwriters hands first thing this morning and she is expecting to hear from them tomorrow.
