30 day late prevent me from mortgage?

I have a recent 30 day late (october), can I still get approved for a FHA  or conventional loan or do I have to wait  for a year?

I have a few 30, 60 and even a 90 day. Hence, I will most likely get rejected if I apply before the year.

From what I've read on the boards here, you can write a letter to the lender explaining why the 30 day late occured and how you will prevent it going forward and you should be fine before the year is up. So you should be fine.
