and the loan is still not reporting...is this common

Depends on who the lender/mortgage servicer is.  There are some who don't report at all.

yup... I refinanced my current home in January and US Bank didn't start reporting till June.   Think it depends on lender.... I called them every month, asking them WHEN it was going to show up... they kept telling me that it "should have" posted already.

 

Look at it this way, by the time it finally hits you'll already have 6 months worth of credit history built with them Smiley Happy  that only helps!!  That "new credit" won't be quite so new Smiley Happy

Creditors are never required to report anything to your credit report, but if they do then it must be factual.

loan is through michigan mutual maybe they do not want to report my double payments
