Just got a letter from the IRS saying basically nothing so I called to find out what was going on with my money. The representative said that my file had been randomly selected to be sent to the auditors office for further review. She said that since there have been so many of these amended returns the IRS is just being extra careful. Has anyone else had this problem? They received my amended return on June 23 2009. You would think this would be plenty of time for the IRS to get this done so I can get my money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
