A ton of questions

I am pretty new to this board so bear with me.

My husband and I are looking into buying a condo in the range of 254k. His credit is amazing, he just has about 15k left in cc debt that is paid on time every month and never late. Together, we make about 75k a year. My credit is currently being worked on as I messed up a lot when I was younger. I have not had any credit cards or any new credit in 3 years. I am trying to get a new cc to start re-establishing myself. My fico score for EQ is right now at 609. I have been at my job for over 2 years and same with him. I was wondering how it will be for us to get approved for a FHA loan.

Are there any good sites out there that have information on how to figure this stuff out? I am really lost on where to start. Please help.

Re: A ton of questions

if your bad credit is all old, it shouldnt be a problem. and collections/charge-offs will NOT have to be paid.

his good credit will help a lot too.

apply with a lender!!
