Re: A- what does it mean?

I should point out that A- to one lender could be C- to another. What are your actual scores?

He told me my middle score was 668.

Re: A- what does it mean?

Not bad. To me that would be B credit. But a good score nonetheless. Usually "a+ prime" is 720+.

A minus means you missed Prime rates for some reason... ask what the automated findings are saying about your borrowing profile that is putting you in the A-minus category instead of just A.

Re: A- what does it mean?

At least I can relax a little now and not be consumed by my score.
After hearing A anything associated with my score is good news.
I was in the 400's 2 1/2 years ago. Taken way too long to get back

Thanks.

Re: A- what does it mean?

Since I have you,
Can the first bank WAMU that locked me in at 6.5 change or counteroffer my rate to 7.25 after locking me in? Doesn't sound right to me.
I received the paperwork in the mail stating they locked me in at 6.5.

They stated they had to counter offer because of " due to my credit profile" . What was the lock for then?

Thanks.

Re: A- what does it mean?

Shane,
I think they did mention A- because I did not have a cash reserve for the rental I have.
It is a single family house with a legal "in law suite" in it. Not much cash in bank. have done way too many repairs to have reserves.

Would that do it?
