So my wife is getting more impatient than me and has already started decorating the house based on pictures of the construction. 
She put here photoshop skills to work and came up with this for the dining room/nook...

Funny how this works...you mention something, and things get done. 
They moved the water meter itself but the pipe still needs to be moved, you can see it poking out of the groud a couple feet to the right.
Granite showed up today...it's a little more yellow and busier than we had imagined, but we like it.
Granite was installed Friday last week as was all the electricl trim (lights/plugs/switches).
