So i think i've found a resolution with my public record....thank god. These dispute comments are a pain in the ass though.
Specifically Equifax...which is my lowest score. I have the comments removed from my TU and EX but the lenders are being sticklers about having the comments removed from my EQ even though it's my lowest score and a non factor....even more annoying is the fact that dispute comments have zero impact on how collections accounts score. grrrr
I agree it is a pain in the butt, I went thru it too.
Who have you been in contact with over at EQ.

I'm in the midest. (Texas)
I'm blessed with CSC. In order to close a dispute they have to open a dispute. I've called at least a dozen times and have escalated all sorts of times.
I am in Texas too, for my EQ report I had to get a rapid score done.
how does that get the comments removed any faster?
CSC said they had to send off a dispute to the OCA to have the comments removed.
Texas here also, I dealt with equifax forget CSC I talked to Dorothy in executive services, (super nice lady) faxed her to drop the disputes, hang on to your hat though and be prepared for a quick response in the way of a drop in your score
I have worked with Dorothy before too, she has taken care of a few things.

not optimal.
but it should get it done if you aren't in a hurry
I have a closed account that says something like "dispute resolved, customer disagrees" but I never disputed the account. (I made a complaint against CapOne on BBB regarding a different account and they must have assumed it was this particular store account.)
Anyway, would something like that be an issue?

we would need more info...... or ex: 24 months old and zero balance accounts don't matter.
