Another Hard Pull Before Committment Letter?

Hello, everyone.

I was wondering: 

 If, say, Chase Bank has "conditionally" approved my mortgage after a hard pull of my credit reports, will they perform another "hard pull" once the appraisal of the property is done and upon the preparation of a "commitment" letter?
