I have a mortgage with a local bank on a rental property, it does not report to any CB. The balance is about the same as when I closed on the loan, about 16 months ago, maybe $1500 less or so. It's a 15 yr loan. The bank said if I wanted them to, they would report it, so it would be 16 months of positive history. I've got decent scores, all 680+ now, and a reasonable mix of account types. Do you think this mortgage reporting would be a good idea or not?
