Does any know of a lender who will use the BK file date instead of the discharge date? We filed CH13 in Jan 09, converted to CH7 in June 2011, discharged Sep. 2011. As far as our credit reports are concerned they are using Jan 09 and considering it over 3 years old but not sure if many mortgage lenders would do the same. We would be going USDA RD Guarantee and all credit scores are over 660. Thank you. ![]()

Just trying chip in here, I do believe most lenders will use the "discharge date" specially for mortgages. In your case the latest will be Sep. 2011. I'll let other chip-in if Im wrong.
