Anyone Lock into a 30yr fha loan this week? What was your rate?

How much is your loan amount or how many point did your LO charge you to lower the rate 4.75%?

My brother was locked at 5.125%

I locked in at 4.875 w/ 0.25 point about 2 weeks ago.

Woah. That's awesome!  I have a one time float down option and hope to get down to that rate. I think I am at 5.125% right now.

Locked into 5% yesterday with FHA. Didn't buy points or anything. . . .

Actually locked in first of last week with FHA @ 5.5....

I see some 5%s here so maybe I should've waited (?!).  LO said if rates came down considerably after lock in  lender should agree to reduce to avoid losing loan.

I must admit the 5.5% sounds really good to me, though, as I'm presently at 6.75% with high PMI.

ROM: I actually heard from my LO today that rates were back up to 5.5% (she said they had 3 adjustments today) and we squeezed in to lock at just the right time. So maybe you didn't get that bad of a deal?

I locked at 5% with a 1/2 point at the beginning of February and closed this past Friday.

I bought down from 5.5% to 4.5%... I was talking to another LO that said "there is no way you bought down from 5.5% to 4.5% for only 1% of the selling cost AND, if you did, I suggest you hang up the phone right now and get that in writing from your LO"..

SO, I hung up from him, contacted my LO to make sure what I understood was true and my LO confirmed and provided me my rate lock in writing,......
