I am looking to buy through this program but had some initial questions. The crux of the program is you get any house listed through HUD for 50% off. The discounted protion is on a silent note that goes away after three years. When you apply for the mortgage is it based on the selling price or the amount you are getting the loan for? What about down payment and closing costs, loan amount or selling price? Thanks!
