Appraisal Fee

I just paid the appraisal fee and I noticed the fee is also on the GFE  the LO sent me.

I'm paying twice the fee? Is this normal?

In my experience this is normal, as the number crunching continues, they will deduct the appraisal cost that you paid for out of pocket.  My LO explained this to me when he sent me my GFE.

You aren't paying twice.  The GFE shows you have to get and pay for one.  Which you have.  It'll be a credit on your closing statement when you go in to sign papers and bring money.
