I still have about 18 months before we want to buy a home, but i'm getting my ducks in a row! Is there any online calculator for my mortgage monthly payments that you would consider fairly accurate? It seems that every calculator I run comes up with such huge swings!! I know my tax rate in the area, going on a 5% interest rate...better to be high than low!
Any ideas?

If you're going FHA - this one seems to be pretty detailed & accurate: http://www.fhahomeloanmortgage.com/calculators/fha

This one is awesome for FHA loans, and estimated my payment accurately down to the penny! They have calculators for all types of loans however.

go to MGIC.com and go to rates > MI compare.
you'll need to enter stuff like property tax, HOA, insurance to get an exact quote with interest rate for your score and downpayment

I go to bankrate dot com. They have a wide range of calculators. I use the one for an ARM loan - and it's VERY accuate.
