when getting a new auto loan, how important is revolving debt? i have good mortgage history, fair auto loan history, and horrible no. of cc w/a few charge-offs and way too much debt
I would recommend having revolving cards. Revolving accounts contribute to your mix of credit which is important. Woth that said, your auto history will be more important than any other TLs when attempting to get auto credit. Nissan is a good example. My buddy leased a car from them when his score was 730+. He ended up filing BK and Nissan had no issues giving him another lease even with a 550 score since he has good payment history with them.
