Automated UW question

I know the answer to this but I want to poll the masters here.

Will I ever receive an accept or approve through DU or LP two years past Deed in Lieu for a VA loan??

OR, am I correct in thinking that we will ALWAYS have a refer or caution, thus requiring a manual underwrite?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Automated UW question

2-years is the mark where you can start being able to receive an "Approve" or "Accept" recommendation... in my experience a Refer usually happens for 2-4 years after a foreclosure notation depending on the person's credit profile.

Not sure if you've came across this, but it's Fannie Mae's manual for running DU on VA mortgages.
