Building with USDA?

We are looking to apply for a USDA loan some time in the next 6 months. We are eligible for both Guaranteed and Direct. I can't seem to find much information on requirements to build a new home. We stumbled upon a few properties last night that are one acre or less and can be owner financed for $160/month. Any and all information is appreciated!

Try USDA.gov if you have not already. It should tell you all you need to know. You can also reach out to the representative in your state. Their contact information is on the website as well -just choose the state in which you live.
