Buying a house while still paying your chapter 13 plan

Has anyone been approved by a chapter 13 trustee to buy a house while still paying the plan? What was involved? Thanks in advance.

FHA and VA both allow for a borrower to purchase a home after 12 months of payments on a Chapter 13, with approval from the Trustee.
