CLEARED TO CLOSE ON FRIDAY!!!!! (but still don't have HUD-1 numbers)

and he says that honestly, he wont have them until Fri am. But atleast I know it will happen! Wooo hoooo!

If you have a buyer's agent, ask her/him for a peek at their copy. Since their fees have to be a fairly major part of the HUD, they'll more than likely have a copy before you get one.

Ah. Still, call him and ask tomorrow. I'll bet you 100 FICO points that he'll see the HUD long before you do. :/

That's what we had to do. Our BA had the HUD first thing closing morning ... while we got our copy literally AT the table roughly 7 hours later.

BTW, in my haste to mention the BA's possibility of letting you see HIS HUD, I completely forgot to say:

Save yourself some stress:

 

Talk to title about their personal check limit.

Get an estimate from the loan officer on how much you will need and get a cashier's check today. You can write a check for the difference(up to the title co limit).

If your cashier's check is over.... you can leave a cancelled check to have the overage wired back to you normally within 24 hours.

I got an email today telling me to expect a call this evening either with the exact number or an estimate. And if we are over, they will write me a check on the spot and if we are under, they will take a personnal check up to X amount.

 

Waiting until tonight......
