CLI while in under writing for FHA

Hello everyone!

I'm in uw for an FHA loan. I've had a Discover IT card since August and was wanting to do the CLI request on it since I know it doesn't do a hard inquiry without asking. Any risk in doing this while in UW? 

If everything clears (waiting on UW and appraisal) we should be closing within two weeks. Should I just wait?

Simple question: if requesting the CLI 2 weeks before closing caused the loan to be denied (hypothetically), would it have been worth it.

I see no reason to mess with your credit report until after closing unless it is a absolute emergency. Requesting a CLI can wait until after closing.

Wait. Don't do anything with your credit during the mortgage process.
