Just wanted to share the news that our loan funded today and we closed escrow. The purchase will record with the county tomorrow.
This has been a long journey for us. We purchased a condo years ago that we were forced to short sell in 2010. Since that point, we have been focused on improving our credit. Unlike with our last purchase, we feel we've been able to buy the right home at the right time with the right loan/rate. We're so excited and behind in packing!
The home is new construction located in the San Francisco Bay Area and was built by Seeno Homes. The home has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is just under 3,100 sq ft. Purchase price was $489,000 and the builder provided $15,000 seller credit for closing costs. We put 10% down on a 30 year fixed FHA loan at 4.375% rate.
There was a ton of helpful information in these forums that helped us along the way and we really appreciate the assistance we gained here.
