Hi all,
Need to understand if I have any recourse for 2 - 30 Day Lates on my Mortgage reporting on my credit report.
1.) Mortgage is due 1st of every month
2.) 15 day grace period before late fees - 15th of every month
On both of my lates, I paid my mortgage plus the late fee on the 17th of the month (less than 30 days). My credit report is reporting 30 days late. I've been told they technically can do this.
That said, are their any options available to me to have these not report as 30 Days Late?
Thanks in advance.

thanks for the response. now i'm not as nervous
i'm going to be sending a letter tomorrow with the payment receipts for the 2 months showing they were not paid after 30 days, but actually only 17 days late.
I will update this thread when I hear back.
happy new year.
