Can seller still assist with closing costs even after there is no more DPA?

Just wondering since I had not seen that addressed.

Seller paying closing costs is different from DPA.  The DPA is gone.  You can still negotiate the seller to pay closing costs.  They have nothing to do with one another except for the fact the you could use the DPA for both in fact inflating your loan by about 6%.  You can still give the seller a reasonable offer but ask for all closing costs paid.

yes nothing has changed as far as closing cost credits. It is just seller assisted down payments that will no longer be accepted.
