My DH has a credit score of 703 and I have a score of 623. We both have minimal debt. 0 debt for me only a few medical collections, all else is paid in full. My dh has about 8k in debt on cc and loc from wedding. I have a studentloan pymt of 216.00 and his is 380.00. He doesn't have any negative items on his credit report. We are looking to purchase a home for about 309k. Our take home pay is about 6700 per month. We have about 9k in liquid assests. Should we attempt to get pre approved now or should we wait until my score is higher?
