I've been working on getting equity out of our house so I can do some much-needed repairs. I have two credit cards with capital one that are in good standing. The last time I tried our FICO score was 629 and 612 the lowest score they accept is 630. Now I have my score above 630 my husbands is 624. Our DTI is good and we are ready to start applying again.
Has anyone successfully applied and received a loan for them? Do you have suggestions on where else to apply that only does soft pulls to start? I don't want a bunch of inquiries on my report. Thanks for any help.
