Hi everyone,
I've never owned a home before but I was wondering what are the chances of being approved for a home loan that involves borrowing around 250-350k?
My credit score is 750 (previously paid off a car loan in good standing)
My income is 55k annualy (105k combined income with partner)
Credit card debt is 7k
Student loan is 10k
Down payment - 3 to 5%
Would I even have a chance to be approved for a home loan?
Thank you for your insights!

Hi Auronz,
Based on the limited information you've provided, you should have no problem qualifying for a mortgage up to $350,000 if your partner is also on the loan.
To get a better idea of where you really stand, provide the following additional details.
1) How are you paid, w-2 or 1099? Salary or commission or a combination? How long have you been at your job?
2) All the same questions for your partner.
3) What is your partner's credit score?
4) What is the monthly payment on your student loan & your credit cards?
5) Does your partner have any debt?
