We got our Clear To Close and are closing this Friday at 4pm.
I have some checks to deposit - totaling about $3000. Didn;t want to deposit them before because they are reimbursements from the State for flood damnage, and didn;t want the headache of getting LOEs from NY State. We don't need the funds for closing. However, we do need to get a new mattress and bedframe for moving in - our old one is shot and we aren't bringing it with us.
Can we deposit the funds now, or is that asking for trouble?
