We received out clear to close yesterday!!!! My LO emailed us the commitment letter yesterday. Now we're waiting for the sellers to agree on an earlier closing! I'm so happy!!! I hope we can close next week as opposed to 8/28.

I'm poping for the same...we got our clear to close yesterday as well but we are closing on Aug 22nd.

Thank you! I hope so too!! Just called my lawyer, but she's at a closing right now. I hope they get back to me today. Crossing fingers.

I'm poping for the same...we got our clear to close yesterday as well but we are closing on Aug 22nd.

So I just wanted to update my thread. We closed on our home Aug 28th, 1 day before our contracted closing date. The previous owners were closing on their new home so we had to wait. It was smooth sailing at the title co., it only took us 1.5 hrs to sign everything! My LO was incredible and so was my realtor! Thanks everyone for being so supportive on this forum. Good luck to everyone going through this process. Don't ever give up!! This was 5 years in the making!!!
