Well I got the word that I am clear to close and the attorney has the packet for closing on Monday at 10am. To be honest this was an entirely uneventful purchase. It was a homepath property and buying it as an investor. No strange or difficult conditions to meet. Lender basically ran my credit report, verified income, cash reserves, employment and they verified my tax information. I only needed to write out a quick note explaining any deposits in my account that was not work related and inquiries on my credit report. That was it.
I honestly think this process was easier than when I bought a house in 1999. I was worried this was going to be a huge ordeal based on the issues I see everyone else having. Will be doing my happy dance on Monday around lunchtime I hope....
Thanks MYFICO for helping me clean my act. Made a huge difference here.
