More or less...the lender's building was evacuated for a gas leak just as they were about to fund the loan, so we'll have to go back in a little bit to get the keys. Ha. But yay, it's ours!! And finally saw the appraisal, which came in higher than the purchase price. Wahoo!!
Yeah, finally! It was a long process -- got preapproved in January and were house hunting soon after. And then we had to wait almost 8 weeks to close after going under contract. But after our offer was accepted, things went almost frighteningly smoothly. I kept expecting something to derail everything, but now the deal is done!!
