Closing date Jan. 21st. USDA funds question

My closing date is Jan 21st. I meet w/usda this Wednesday. All is done appraisal etc. Ready for this to be done but now I read there may be no funding? If not then what???? When do they meet to pass the funds? Any input would be appreciated.

The entire US government has no budget, it is operating under a "Continuing Resolution" through March.  Now since the CR says they continue to spend on last year's baseline, if there were funbs last year I don't understand why there wouldn't be under CR, but agencies do strange things - like not funding mortgages so they have money if their final budget is cut.

Oh, and you'd be amazed what havoc might ensue if you contact your congressman / senators and ask for help ensuring you can close...
