well.....sigh......the saga continues......

instead of signing after work like we were supposed to, we had to do a mad scramble and sign in the middle of the day.  Doesnt sound like a problem but my DH is a UPS driver and getting someone to cover his route is NOT the easiest thig to do.  We drive 60 minutes to get to the title company and start to sign the 10 lbs of paper to get the house....We are halfway done when we realize that THE ADDRESS OF THE HOUSE ON THE PAPERS IS SLIGHTLY INCORRECT!!!!!!!!

After 45 minutes of waiting to get new papers we get new papers and start the whole process again

Fingers crossed we get funded tomorrow and finally get our keys......

We funded on Friday and recorded today....Our dream house is now ours!!!!!!

Phew.....im drained but super crazy excited.

My California dream home is 3600 sq. ft. 5 bedrooms 3.5 baths with a pool....If it sounds like I'm bragging.......I AM!!!!

This has been such a journey...but we wouldn't have made it without the advice and tips we found on this board.

Good Luck to you!  We're hoping to build this coming feb or march but I just pulled my credit report again and in 3 months my scores dropped about 70 points for each score.  I'm devastated!  I thought I was doing everything right...but more collection companies keep selling my account and then the new one starts up on my credit.  It's neverending.  I'm about to finally hire a credit specialist company...since I refused to before so I'm hoping this goes well.
