Re: Comments on thie GFE please?

I want to start by saying I know VERY LITTLE about GFE's BUT I am doing USDA and our loan origination fee is 1% not 2% like yours and in my paperwork it says "not to exceed 1%"

That is the only info I can offer you, 2% seems high but like I said I know very little about GFE's

Re: Comments on thie GFE please?

What is your rate?

Everything looks acceptable except 2% Origination....Should be 1% unless you are trying to buy down to get an incredible rate.

Re: Comments on thie GFE please?

The GFE told me 5.5% but she told me mostly likely 5.25 unless something happens to interest rates  that she isn't expecting in the next 45 days.

I am going to check on the orignation fee, hmmmmm....

Also I caught a mistake, she forgot to include our state transfer tax of 1%. I emailed her and she was so embarassed and apoligized over and over again. She did the GFE at the last minute because everything took off so fast. I got preapproved on Fri, looked at houses on Sat, wasnt expecting to do anything until after 3/20 but found a house I like, worked a deal with the seller regarding that issue and signed everything Tues night.
