Compare USDA to VA loan?

Anyone care to compare the two of these?

I know our family size/income is eligible.  I know this area is eligible.

But I don't know how they compare to the VA, for which we are eligible.

One thing I do know is that with a VA loan you will not have to pay any PMI while I believe you still have to pay PMI on a USDA loan unless you put down 20%.  Also it is my understanding that a VA loan is a lot easier to get in comparison.  You will not need a down payment with either loans.  I am currently in the process of obtaining a VA loan, and by my LO reaction, it was a much better choice for us.

Havnt gotten this far yet personally but have heard the VA inspection can be a raw deal sometimes.

VA inspections are tough and that's a good thing.

USDA is about the same.

The reason is VA does not what the veteran put into a piece of junk home. They care about the house and the house must pass a vigorous inspection.
