Credit inquiry removed by lender???

I pulled my credit report and it shows a -1 change to number of inquiries.. seems like the mortgage company deleted their inquiry without my asking. I could care less if it stays or goes, but this is weird to me!! Are mortgage inquiries normally removed the day after?

No, but are you sure it wasn't just a real old inquiry that dropped off instead?

Hey that is a good thing.

Less hard inquries on your credit equals a better score and makes it easier to get new lines of financing.

Oh, I know! I think it's great! I just can't figure out why, or if it's a common thing.
