I'm in the loan approval process of buying a house and two of my old creditors (delinquent accounts that are 6+ years old) have found out that I'm applying for a mortgage. They have sent me letters asking for their money. My question is if SOL is already up (4 years in Texas) can a creditor attach a lien to the house before I purchase?
Any help would be appreciated.
