I'm aware of the issues with manufactured homes, but it's a good option for us. It gives us the sq foot space we want without having to go in debt for $150,000 and a $1,000 mortgage payment each month for the next 30 years. We just are not interested in that.
So to answer the questions earlier, the down payment they request is about $9,000ish, my yearly income is around $55k and I'm not sure what a mortgage score is. All I know is I am not reporting a credit score as I had no invovlement with credit for the last ten years (as I basically hate creditors). I do also have one or two small blotches on my credit that don't look great I'm working to correct.
