Did your FICO score go down after your mortgage reports on your CR?

Hello!

My husband and I recently closed on our first home!  I was wondering what people's experiences were with your credit score after it reports as a new account on your CR.  We currently have low utilization on our credit cards and student loans that report.  I've seen anything from scores going down 50 points at first, to scores going up by about 10 points.  Any insight is appreciated.

Thank you!

Went down a few points. I closed on June 6th. I forget the exact number, but was only 5 points or 7 points.

No effect on my score when it reported, it is a bit of a profile dependant thing but normally only a small decrease if it causes a decrease at all
