Do I need to pay an old CA if my Fico score is 696  in order to get a mortgage loan ?

Depends on the individual lender. Most don't require anything paid unless it's a judgement or tax lien.

And don't pay it unless they tell you to b/c you will reset the time and it will lower your score.
