Does bank account used for preapproval have to show transactions?

I've been saving money in a separate account that will be used for the downpayment. I do not pay any debts out of this account so the statements will not show any transactions except the seasoned funds. Is this suspicious to lenders?

No. There is no rule regarding how one saves for a downpayment except for cash under the mattress. When I bought my first house in the 1980s, I cashed in savings bonds that I had purchased over a 15yr period.

I dont think so.  We have our down payment money of a separate savings account that we only make deposits to.  You will sho have to show statements for this account too

Equifax: 676 (myfico) Experian: 683(myfico) TransUnion: 689 (Barclays)
