I am going to receive $5,000 in down payment assistance from one of the local programs and I plan to save about 2500 more over the next month or two however I wanted to get preapproved as soon as possible….My question is..
When you apply for a home loan pre-approval, do they require you to have all of the down payment money available at that time?
