Due-Diligence

When does due-diligence start? Does it start after your contract has been accepted or does it start after the property has become available to you? i.e The house has not been de-winterized, therefore I can not schedule an inspection.

Thanks.

Re: Due-Diligence

What does your contract say?

It should specify the number of days you have for your due diligence. Normally in the contract it says that it starts 'on acceptance' for X days. So that is immediatly upon acceptance.

Re: Due-Diligence

My contract states an inspection will be performed within 7 days of acceptance date. But the home has not been made available to me to perform the inspection.
